Great taste but stingy on the shrimp! And nice thing here is there are typically not wait lines. So if you want quick dim sum this is the spot!

Dim sum here is very decent but not the best! The good news is there's rarely a wait!

I meet with friends this place a lot! This is the best place to eat. I visit this place routinely. The cooking is very tasty, the staff members are welcoming and the prices are good. I enjoy meeting in this place for a rich supper.

I recently ate Seafood Cove 2, the other dim sum restaurant that's down the street, and I believe that Kim Su is slightly better. The service is friendlier and more attentive because they don't want to just shove you in and out. The price I paid was less than Seafood Cove 2 even though it felt like I bought more food. Quality of food was very similar in both restaurants but Kim Su even has a slight edge in that because the food tasted slightly fresher. Overall, Kim Su is the best dim sum you can get around this area.

Friends who have recommended it in the past said this most recent visit was so disappointing... and it was. Food had nothing redeeming about it-- the best dishes were adequate, to be fair---- but most was meh at best. Service was even more pushy than usual, too.

Absolutely delicious. Try the lobster, crab and hot and sour soup!

Could be better. Being in the middle of Asian cultural district I expected more: better food, better service and better selections. They were out of their many feature specialties.

Doesn't compare to Capital Seafood dim sum at Irvine Spectrum, but it was close by and decently price. The service is usually good and food was okay, but they ran out of banh cam (sesame balls)

The shrimp dumpling was sour and wasn't good. The pork dumpling was okay. There wasn't much variety when we got there around 12. So I don't know what to say about their dim sum. Sorry but it was really disappointing

This place is amazing so is the service they really know how to make customers happy here its a little far from me but i will be coming back for sure

This spot knows how to please their customers. Constantly with a nice approach. The food is reasonably priced, always flavorful and neat.

Kim SÆ° lobster is pretty good and tasty, fair prices and ok service.

With the tragic closure of Furiwa, a successor was needed. The staples in Little Saigon are not my cup of tea. I refuse to wait hours to be crammed and rush while dining. With that said, Kim Su was part of the replacement tour. I see familiar faces from the old guard. The service is fair, typical high pressure sales, tight seating. The food is on the salty side. But fried taro and xa long bao were impressive.

The food was fantastic. The lobster was excellent! Even though it was a slightly packed due to parents taking their kids there after graduation and whatnot, they did a good job being attentive and constantly checking on my table.

This place never fails to impress. They serve fresh dishes for affordable prices, there are no long waits even when they are full.

The food was wonderful! I ordered the tofu where it was crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside and that's my favorite food out of all. I also had dim sum which was also really good and well-seasoned. This place also has really good pho ap chao so I really recommend to eat that for lunch or dinner if you're craving it.

The best dim sum in the county! And probably the best lobster restaurant in the county, too. Other places come and go, but Kim Su has maintained the highest standards for great-tasting dim sum for over 20 years. But if more people knew about the lobster, there would be a line around the block. The great taste and value can't be overstated. Try it, and you'll forget all about Slapfish or Hook & Anchor.

The Dim Sum was bad. It was so bad that the free water had more flavor than the Shumai that was made. Service was ignorant and my family spoke Vietnamese and Chinese and they still couldn't understand what we wanted... In a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant. I was so fusurated that I had to dunk my taro egg and shrimp into soy sauce because the lack of flavor just represent the lack of care for the food. I finished the food not in respect of the chef but the animals who died being made into dissapointing food.Whoever made the food should burn their apron and just buy their food instead of making it. Their hands should only have cash in hand not any kitchen tool if they are ever going to eat. If you believe your Dim Sum is good, then prison food garbage would be rated 5 stars.

Not a bad spot for dim sum when you don’t want to deal with waiting in line.

Awesome lobster. Ask for extra napkins and a couple of pieces of lime and dig in! Yum!

Warning: my taste in chinese food is primarily for the greasy, fried mess of general gau's chicken I used to get back in Boston! So if that's the type of thing you're looking for, this place is pretty close to the good 'ol Boston chinese food.

Loved their Dim sum. Parking is limited. You might have to park in the back of the store.

I think the dumplings of all types are kind of dry but, my family had been eating here our whole lives. I think fresh honey walnut shrimp is amazing. Otherwise typical dimsum place. Great when hot.

The woman answering the phone was so RUDE. She answered my phone with an angry voice and she hung up the phone without even saying bye. Which world did she come from?
